Leewood FF Josey 7E
Josey was our high seller in 2018 to MJM Enterprises. We had kept semen off him as a yearling and liked the results. I asked about buying him in 2021 and we were able to bring him back to Leewood. We walked Josey in 2022, 2023 and 2024 before selling him to Golden Dawn Farms in Iowa. We kept a bunch of semen on Josey and will be flushing some our donors to him in the up coming years.
LEEWOOD RS REDMAN 27L
Redman was our high seller in 2024 and we bought back part of him. We walked him a cycle before he headed North to work for Laurenceson Farms. A very stout made bull with loads of style. His dam is one of our top red females and she is a Max daughter. 024H has another standout bull this year sired by Westgold Blood Lust that will be one of our top bulls for our 2025 sale.
BRM LIONHEART 19L
A polled Fullblood bull we bought out of BC in the spring of 2024. We liked his length of body, solid performance numbers and being backed by a proven dam. We tried him on our fullblood heifers and a select number of fullbood cows for 2024.
BLI Ludacris 2305L
Power! Power! Power! When I seen this guy I knew we could use him. His dam is a big powerful red cow that was on the show circuit with Ludicris. He weaned off his dam at 112 Lbs and has a adj ww of 911 Lbs. On sale day he was over 1700lbs and he wasn’t fat. We are excited to see calves off him in 2025.
IPU Rolling Coal 69L
We needed a black heifer bull and this guy checked all the boxes. 69L has great muscle shape, good performance numbers and back by a beautiful first calver. His pedigree has a bunch of well known names like High Roller, Tanker, Cowboy Cut, MRL Missile and Soda Pop. I would say HSF High Roller is one of the best calving ease bulls ever. He`s been used for a long time and his progeny just work. Skors High Roller 34C has worked just like his sire, so using a son like 69L is a no brainer. Rolling Coal is homo polled homo black.
DMJ Hannibal Lecter 52L
I really like the SRH Hannibal bull and when I seen this son; we wanted to own him. He has great muscle shape, good footed, moderate framed and packs some performance with good calving ease. Lector is an embryo calf off of SRH Hannibal and KWA MS Riddler 107E. 107E is a donor cow for Ag-Land Farms in Manitoba. We liked him so much we also bought a full sister to lector.
IPU Tennessee Whiskey 218L
A Top Tier son out, of a $40,000 Betts daughter; from LaBatte Simmentals. He`s a bull we bought for the heifer pen in 2024. We liked his performance numbers coming off a first calver and his lower birth weight. We`ll have calves off him in 2025.
KHG Thick Rick 85K
Rick was the high seller from the 2023 Westgold Farms Bull sale. He was our pick of the bulls that day and he has matured into an impressive herd sire. Thick Rick is just that Thick! He`s blood red, deep bodied, long spined and packs tons of power. There will be some bulls in our 2025 sale out of Rick. He had one of the largest groups of cows in 2024 so he`ll have plenty more sons coming in 2026.
Leewood RS Loverboy 38K
A home raised bull we bought a share back in. He has big performance numbers with a 1150lbs act ww , a 993 adj ww and just a 79lbs birth weight. He also has great CE numbers and has worked great on heifers. His dam is one of our top young females that will most likely become a future donor. We will have bulls off Lover Boy in our 2025 bull sale.
Leewood BS Moto Moto 28K
I would say the best bull we`ve rasied so far. Just all around impressive bull. Big topped, deep sided, long spined, great feet and like a pet. Dam was the top cow coming from the KOPP Dispersal and our pick of the herd. We didn’t buy her that day but we were able to get a flush off her a few years ago. Moto is a big time performance bull with a 1187lbs act ww and moves so well. He sold to Twisted Gate Farms for $27,000 in our 2023 sale, so we`ll be using him through AI.
Sun Star Knock Out 48K
Stopped in Camrose ``Just to look`` and this guy just stood out to me. I`ve had good luck with Sun Star cattle and Knockout is no different. A power house of a black bull that has continued to impress us with his do ability and breeding (42 head bred in one cycle). He has several sons in our 2025 sale pen and some of the top females out of 225 head.
MRL Kodiak 82K
Was the High seller of the 2023 MRL Bull sale to Ag-land Farms. A very well made bull with depth, length and width of body. His pedigree is loaded with donors like 477U, 863S and 470U. We bought a semen pack on him and used it on a few second calvers. The calves we got in 2024 have been very good and we used him in some flushes in 2024. We plan on using him more in 2025.
Rendevous Red Wave
We bought Red Wave to use on heifers and first calvers. We want power calves off our young cows that fit with the rest of the herd and Red Wave is helping us with that. He has calved very well for us and his calves have grown like weeds. He has matured very well and might out grow the heifer pen but he`ll have a spot somewhere in the herd. Red Wave breeds very well and covers a lot of head without any problems.
Westgold Blood Lust 116J
$45,000 high seller we bought in 2022 from Westgold farms. A bull that is a real stand out with big performance numbers and a great pedigree. Hes’ sired by LFE Amber 857F who was $107000 from the Lewis Farms sale. Blood Lust sons will be in our 2025 sale
Perks Potent 309H
$70000 bull from Perk Land and Cattle Co that sold to LaBatte Simmentals and Circle 7. We where able to get one of the few semen packs on him and have calves coming in 2022.
Mavv Hollar Back 13K
I watched a video on Hollar and decided to make the trip south to check him out. I wasn`t disappointed when I saw him come out of the chute (Mike was Tagging for the sale). Big bodied, deep, long, good feet and big framed. His dam was our pick from the Wilson Farms Dispersal, so getting a son was a bonus for us. He`ll have several sons in our 2025 bull sale that I will bring the lbs come weaning time.
Lazy S Tommy 204J
Go through the Lazy S sale videos Tommy just stood out to me. I drove up north to look at him and he was as impressive as the video. Backed by a productive dam and a outcross for most herds , we decided to try and buy him. We really feel like we stole him at $23,000 because we seen lesser bulls bring triple that. First calve crop was 2022 and we have several bulls for the 2025 sale.

Ole Son is a embryo bull we sold in 2021 and we kept semen on. He was the deepest bull we seen all year and his dam is one of our top cows. We already have some calves on the ground.
PWK MAX FACTOR 137Y 17B
Max left in 2021 but we will continued to use him through AI. Max Factor is as consistent as any bull we’ve ever used. His calves come easy, polled with powerful growth. His calves impressed us at the Workman Dispersal in 2017 and continue to impress us with each calf that hits the ground at Leewood. Max sons and daughters are at the top of their pens, with many visitors picking his sons out of the bull pen. We used Max heavily again in 2019 and can’t wait to try a few of his sons in 2020. He’s a moderate framed bull that’s very easy doing and has a disposition second to none. Max is a proven herd sire that will add thickness and doability to his calves. When I went to look at Tommy, Shelby would not stop catching my eye. Tommy and Shelby were so similar I thought if possible I would buy both. Just so happened we bought the 3 high sellers that day at Lasy S being Tommy, Shelby and Lawless.
Lazy S Lawless 32J
High selling Lazy S Ranch Red Simmental for 2022. He looked like a good bull on video and he was better in person. Super long bodied bull that has brought lots of performance in his calves so far. We have been using Lawless on the smaller cows to add some frame and pounds. Dark red blaze faced bull that is as dark as they come.
